Love Never Fails Part 3

Have you ever wondered how to break free of your frustration in relationships and your struggle with faith, answered prayer and your walk with God?  He is your answer.  God is love, and He never fails.  And when you walk in His love, you will never fail!

Praise the Lord precious saints of the Living God.  I thank my God we can spend this time together in the Word of God.  Two weeks ago I started this timely subject. Today we will continue in the Word of God.

This is the year of the Fullness of the Blessing, and everyone is excited about this great prophecy, and rightfully so.  However, there are several key areas of our lives that will contribute to us experiencing the manifestation of the Fullness of the Blessing this year.  One of those areas are we must walk in love.  “Love Never Fails!”

Now, let’s go ahead and pick up from where we left off last time.

JOHN 13:35

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, IF YE HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER.

How is the world going to know we are Christians?  Because we love one another! If the God-kind of love is so important, we need to know what it is.  You understand, of course, that the God-kind of love is not the same as the natural human love.  Natural human love can turn into hatred overnight, but God’s love never fails.

1 CORINTHIANS 13: 4-8 (Amplified)

4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful  or vainglorious, does not display itself  haughtily.

5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly.  Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account or the evil done to it (it pays no attention to a suffered wrong).

6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.

7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything (without weakening).

8 LOVE NEVER FAILS (never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end).  As for prophecy (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and ceased; as for knowledge, it will pass away (it will lose its value and be superseded by truth).

You see, God’s love is greater than all these things Paul lists here.  It’s greater than prophecies, tongues, and knowledge.  Why is it greater?  Because one day, all those things will vanish and pass away.  We won’t need them anymore.  But God’s love will never pass away.

Again, I am out of time, but make sure you continue to stay with me as we learn more about the love of God in this series of lessons.  Until the next time remember, “God’s Love Never Fails.”

Word for Today: "When You Ask"

Don’t ask amiss; James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” When we try to tell God how to do it we are trying to consume our answer upon our own lust.  Our part is to ask in faith and let God answer His way, He knows how to get the answer to us and all glory goes to him.  Remember we never tell God how to do it, we will hinder the answer ever time.
