"Unity" Is Important To God And Man

This is one of the most important articles I have ever written in my life to date.  I trust the Holy Spirit that you will receive this message with gladness and apply it to your lives daily.  And nothing shall be impossible unto us.

Let’s start this series by rehearsing the high priestly prayer Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane the night before He was crucified.  This is a marvelous prayer.  Jesus prayed to our Heavenly Father for the UNITY of His Church, that His Church would be ONE (in unity) as He and our Heavenly Father are ONE.

Dearly beloved, I want you to take note how many times Jesus used the word ONE as He prayed fervently.  Jesus included you and me in this great prayer although we were not even in existence at the time.  This powerful prayer was for the church back then and for us today.

JOHN 17: 9 – 11; 20 – 24

9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are mine.

10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee.  Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be ONE, as we are.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them which also shall believe on me through their word.

21 That they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be ONE in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I

have given them; that they may be ONE, even as we are ONE.

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in ONE; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, BE WITH ME where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

After reading this text, you can easily see the emphasis Jesus Christ paid on the UNITY AND ONENESS of His disciples and His Church.

Another Scripture along this line that I am sure will bless you is found in the Gospel of Matthew 18: 19 – 20.  Jesus was talking about two people coming into agreement and the power that is released in that UNITY OR ONENESS.

 MATTHEW 18: 19 – 20

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you SHALL AGREE on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst.

My dear friends, as we take this lesson to heart, and remain on one accord with the word of God and with one another, nothing shall be impossible with us.  I am ready for the great things of God.  Are you ready for this mighty move of God in the Church of the Firstborn?  Then let’s continue on one accord right now and watch God move mightily in our midst.

Word for Today: "Loyalty"

In order to achieve success and increase in any Church or ministry there is always one key element present that worth its weight in gold.  That rare element is “Loyalty!” Loyalty cannot be reproduced in an assembly line.  As a matter of fact, loyalty cannot be artificially formulated because it is from the heart.  It grows only where and when it is planted and watered often.  Like the Bible says, “Like begets like!” And we reap only what we sow.  Loyalty cannot be demanded.  It can only be earned. If you want those you lead  to be loyal to you, you must be loyal to them.
